Goddard Scripts

The Place to Find Scripts by Students and Alumni of Goddard College's MFA Program

About GoddardScripts

Goddardscripts.com is your one-stop source for plays and screenplays written by graduates and students of Goddard College's MFA in Creative Writing Program. Here, you can find dramas, one-acts, ten-minute plays, short films, and virtually every other kind of script, all of them written by some of the most promising and talented writers in the country.

Best of all, we have designed this site so you can search through the scripts and find with pinpoint accuracy exactly what you are looking for. Want a 10-minute comedy with three characters about the African American experience? No problem, you can search for that. Want a drama with three roles for women and two for men? You can find that also. No other Web site makes it so easy for artistic directors, producers, and dramaturges to find the scripts they are looking for.

Goddard is a small liberal arts school located in Plainfield, Vermont just outside the capital, Montpelier. It developed the first low-residency MFA program in the country. Students stay on campus for one-week then return home and study one-on-one with a mentor for the rest of semester. For graduation, each student produces a thesis in his or her genre.

We think this is the best possible way to get an MFA -- lots of individual attention and an emphasis on finding your artistic voice, personal growth, and self-transformation.
